ALITA 794 – Orthophthalic solid surface resin

Principal Properties & Application:

ALITA 794 resin is an orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin, primarily made from phthalic anhydride, maleic anhydride, and standard diols. It is dissolved in crosslinking monomers such as styrene, offering moderate viscosity and reactivity.

ALITA 794 resin exhibits excellent colorability, high strength, and good toughness. It is ideal for solid surface materials, standard sanitary ware, and other casting products.

Instruction and attention:

  1. ALITA 794 resin contains wax and does not include accelerators or thixotropic additives.
  2. ALITA 794 resin is suitable for standard solid surface materials and conventional cast sanitary ware. For higher performance requirements, it is recommended to choose ALITA 793 resin.
  3. Cutting and sanding during the production process should be performed after sufficient post-curing.
  4. Post-curing at 60-70°C for no less than 3 hours will result in better product performance.
  5. Moisture absorption by fillers should be avoided, as excessive moisture content can affect curing and lead to a decrease in performance.

Handling and Storage:

This resin contains ingredients which could be harmful if mishandled. Contact with skin and eyes should be avoided and necessary protective equipment and clothing should be worn.
Drums – It is highly recommended that all material is stored at stable temperatures below 25°C (77°F). Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. To avoid contamination of product with water, do not store outdoors. Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Rotate stock.

How can I get a sample?2024-07-17T06:56:11+00:00

We provide small samples free of charge, but you will need to cover the shipping costs.

Are you able to adjust the formula to meet our requirement?2024-07-17T06:59:11+00:00

We have our own technical department. After you test the sample, please provide us with your detailed requirements. We can adjust the resin accordingly to enhance the properties of your finished products.

What is the lead time for mass production?2024-07-17T07:00:10+00:00

Honestly, it depends on the quantity. We will do our best to create a production plan based on your estimated time of arrival (ETA).

What are your terms of payment?2024-07-17T07:01:14+00:00

For the first trial order, we require 100% payment upfront. For subsequent orders, we ask for 30% payment in advance and 70% payment after the buyer receives the B/L copy. We also accept L/C if needed.
