p-Benzoquinone (PBQ) Polymerization Inhibitor – 10% PBQ Solution

Overview

p-Benzoquinone (PBQ) is a highly effective polymerization inhibitor widely used in various chemical processes. Its superior thermal stability and inhibition efficiency make it an excellent choice for preventing premature polymerization in monomers such as styrene, vinyl acetate, methyl methacrylate, and unsaturated polyester resins. This 10% PBQ solution is formulated for easy application and enhanced performance in industrial polymerization control.

Key Features & Applications

  1. Polymerization Inhibitor:

    • Effectively prevents unwanted polymerization in monomers like styrene, vinyl acetate, and methyl methacrylate.
    • Superior inhibition and heat resistance compared to hydroquinone.
    • Used in acrylonitrile and vinyl acetate polymerization initiation.
  2. Chemical Synthesis & Oxidation Agent:

    • Used in the synthesis of hydroquinone, dye intermediates, and rubber antioxidants.
    • Acts as a dehydrogenation reagent in amino acid analysis.
    • Serves as an oxidizing agent for dye production.
  3. Selective Oxidation Applications:

    • Efficiently oxidizes conjugated primary allylic alcohols while remaining stable in the presence of secondary alcohols and benzyl alcohols.
    • When combined with hydrated zirconium oxide as a catalyst, it enables selective oxidation of primary alcohols.
  4. Antioxidant & Industrial Applications:

    • Functions as an antioxidant in natural and synthetic rubber, food products, and other organic compounds.
    • Utilized in leather tanning, photographic development, and as a raw material in dye, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic manufacturing.

Packaging & Storage

  • Available in customized packaging based on industrial requirements.
  • Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and oxidizing agents.
  • Handle with care and follow safety protocols for industrial chemical storage.
How can I get a sample?2024-07-17T06:56:11+00:00

We provide small samples free of charge, but you will need to cover the shipping costs.

Are you able to adjust the formula to meet our requirement?2024-07-17T06:59:11+00:00

We have our own technical department. After you test the sample, please provide us with your detailed requirements. We can adjust the resin accordingly to enhance the properties of your finished products.

What is the lead time for mass production?2024-07-17T07:00:10+00:00

Honestly, it depends on the quantity. We will do our best to create a production plan based on your estimated time of arrival (ETA).

What are your terms of payment?2024-07-17T07:01:14+00:00

For the first trial order, we require 100% payment upfront. For subsequent orders, we ask for 30% payment in advance and 70% payment after the buyer receives the B/L copy. We also accept L/C if needed.
